1999 Fusion der ehemaligen BAWI-Bibliothek und der ehemaligen BWA/BIGA-Bibliothek zum SECO Dokumentationsdienst. 2010 Die Bibliothek am Guisanplatz (BiG) übernimmt im Zuge der Konzentration der Bibliotheken und Dokumentationsstellen der Bundesverwaltung im Raum Bern den grössten Teil der SECO-Archivbestände. Ab 1.8.2010 führt das SECO nur noch einen internen Dokumentationsdienst.
