Search tips

In addition to the full text search, the following search options are available:

Fuzzy search

To perform a fuzzy search, use the tilde character (~) at the end of a word.

For example: If you want to search for words that are spelled similarly to "media", type "media~".

Wildcard search

To perform a search with wildcards, use the question mark (?) instead of any character.

Example: If you want to search for "woman" or "women", enter "wom?n".

Boolean operators

Boolean operators allow words to be logically linked. The following operators are allowed: AND, OR, NOT.

Note: Boolean operators must be capitalized!

For example: If you want to search for a university in Bern or Zurich, enter "(Bern OR Zurich) AND university".
