Gemeindebibliothek Domat/Ems ist 1968 entstanden als eine öffentliche allgemeine Bibliothek zur Versorgung der Bevölkerung mit Büchern. Im Laufe der Zeit hat sich die Bibliothek zu einer Mediothek gewandelt, die neben Bücher, Comics und Zeitschriften für alle Altersgruppen auch verschiedene Nonbooks im Sortiment führt.
Gemeindebibliothek ist eine Stiftung.
