Die Bibliothek Landquart und Umgebung wurde 1986 gegründet. Die Vorläufer Bibliothek war die Bibliothek des Arbeitsausschuss RhB. Seit 2003 sind die beiden Gemeinden Landquart und Malans die Trägergemeinden der Bibliothek Landquart und Umgebung.
