Gegründet 1968. Die ersten Bücher waren vor allem Schenkungen und ausgemusterte Bücher aus grösseren Stadtbibliotheken. Durch die Unterstützung durch Stiftungen und die Gemeinde, konnte der Bestand an Medien erhöht werden. Heute stehen den Nutzern rund 6000 Medien zur Auswahl.
